As part of a team from diverse Red Hat organisations, SAP and IBM we integrated our Kubernetes Platforms, Gardener and Openshift around the emerging technology of Kubevirt (Kubernetes VM management).

  • Understand Design Decisions in SAP’s Gardener to propose meaningful interfaces between both platforms.
  • Represent Red Hat’s Walldorf team in the interdisciplinary project team and align plans and resources with other organisations within Red Hat.
  • Represent the integration project’s status in global, internal engineering calls.
  • Participate in program planning and software architecture discussions with SAP and IBM.
  • Establish a Kanban based, agile work mode in cooperation with Program and Product Management teams.
  • Side activity: Create and moderate work groups in Red Hat’s Walldorf team to improve the team spirit, get non-urgent-but-important work done with joy, and integrate team members who only joined after work-from-home was established.
